Garbage Cans, 24 x 30, by Ron Donoughe

It is always fun to check out what people put out for trash, especially on bulk pickup day. I've done my share of dumpster diving. I've painted this alley before in winter so it felt good to warm it up on this piece.

Love that you put garbage cans in the painting, and love where you put them. And how you put them (in deep shadow).

The dappled light is great is this Ron. I love the garbage cans too, like Taryn said, and where you put them. Maybe it's the fact that I can't help but slow down when something is interesting sitting at the curb for pick up. I don't know if that's full blown dumpster diving, but close!
Your compositions are always fastastic.
