Last Summer I painted on a beautiful farm in
Port Royal that had huge fields of sunflowers.
While there, I spotted these beautiful pots of flowers
on their side porch. It was such an incredible day -
every where you looked there was a painting waiting
to happen!

Red geraniums and begonias--I'm not quite ready to purchase and display them outdoors, but these beauties will more than do for now.

Geraniums are one of my favorites. I also like the way they fill the page and also the way the color bounces off the background.
