LOOKING OVER DEVIL'S DEN by Sharon Benner

I went to the Gettysburg Battlefield today with a group of SVPAP artists. This view was from the top of Little Roundtop looking across the valley. There are many beautiful panaramic views at this location. Claire Carnell was painting tucked in between the rocks and bolders on the left side of this road. The golden tree on the right above the large rock formation is "witness" tree of the battle. see more work at www.hanoverareaarts/42 or SharonKBennerFineArt.blogspot

I absolutely love this, Sharon. You got that soft Spring color, and such a wonderful view and sense of distance. I have to admit that I was looking for the bright pink of my sweatshirt by those rocks :)

I like the glow around the witness tree. Looks like you had a great day.

The softness of your colors perfectly captures Spring, Sharon -- beautifully done!
