DAYBREAK by Linda Benton McCLoskey

"DAYBREAK" Small Works - 7 x 7 - Cold Wax & Oil on Cradled Panel

This is a new medium for me that I am really enjoying working with...Dorland's or Gamblin's Cold Wax which you add to oil paint. This piece was sold immediately upon completion.

I can see why it sold--It's expressive and beautifully painted.

I really like this one, Linda. Although it conveys a sense of stillness, there is a lot of subtle movement that is very attractive. Beautiful!

Beautiful piece - I love the way it draws you inside and just holds your gaze. I love the look of almost seeing reflections of the trees.
