"Tomato Seller" by Taryn Day

oil on panel
6"x6"

This man was sitting in his booth at the Reading Terminal Market, surrounded by boxes and boxes of tomatoes, but I decided that a close-up of his face was the most interesting way to look at him.

Taryn, I can't believe this is a 6x6. It is so powerful. Love your syle.

I love your syle/technique in brush strokes and always love your subject matter!

Taryn, I so admire your style! You capture so much spontaneity and yet so much structure in just the most basic of strokes. I always enjoy seeing your posts!
