Here is a painting I just finished of a view of the lovely homes in Boiling Springs, Pa. along the water (from a photo I took a couple of months ago). The top image shows the underpainting (pan watercolors and Inktense pencils) and the bottom image shows it after the addition of Prismacolor colored pencils. This was done on hot-pressed watercolor paper, which is new to me; I like the texture of this surface, although I found it surprisingly vulnerable to erasures.
