Palette Knife
This painting was done entirely with a palette knife. I made a sculpting compound using clear gesso and pumice which I used to mix with my paint. The clear gesso worked well, in that it didn't alter the color of the paint. There were some areas that became challenging eg eyes. If you have any questions, or wish to purchase, contact PAT. This animal painting caught my eye. The technique is interesting since I just took a workshop on creating texture in acrylic painting. This guy is so cute and you really did a good job.
Pat, you "weild" an awesome knife! Got Milk has such depth, especially that left ear; it looks like it is coming out of the painting towards me. Love those shadows too.

I grew with cows and this one reminds me of Susie. Very nicely done
Like Ron, I grew up around on a farm and this cow reminds me of the farmer's favorite cow, Suki! She took her job as leader very seriously, yet was so gentle in her role!
