Elements - Dianne Lorden

I'm currently the proud owner of several recently started, all unfinished pieces. These are elements of a pastel that is largely done, but still has another major bit to add. I'm likely to finish this one, even though I'm already on to the next! I guess I'm feeling a bit fickle.
My artwork can be viewed at South Mountain Sketchbook.

The individual elements are terrific, so I can only imagine how wonderful the total piece looks - sure hope you will post it when it is done.!

Wow! I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this! This means you must be bursting with creative energy! Nice start to all.

Beautiful starts! I do the same thing but most the time I have three different mediums started.

Well, I've got two different mediums started on three different paintings right now. So glad we're many of us in the same boat!

Great starts! I have at least 6-8 unfinished paintings sitting around. A few I've been working on and off for roughly 10 years. Several others, I regret, that were unfinished and I painted over. My wife nearly killed me. I had one painting I did in 97, I think, finished it in a few months. Worked on it a few years after and then last year, went over to the wall where it hung and still does, and did more work on it right there on the wall.

Weeeell, if we're going to go THAT far back, I've got a very large oil - prob. 60% done - that my husband still calls my "masterpiece" and continues to hope I'll one day complete. So, old unfinished oils probably add another three pieces.
