Auodad Sheep by Charlotte Yealey

This is my most recent painting of a Auodad Sheep. He is a resident of the Catoctin Zoo where I photographed him years ago but just recently decided to paint this for a demo in my colored pencil class. I showed my students how colored pencil can be used with many other mediums.
I think I found  another favorite medium combination.

You really captured a personality in the goat. He looks like trouble as soon as he finishes eating. I love the horns. Sharon
