3 Little Pigs by Jennifer VonStein

3 Little Pigs - Acrylic on Canvas - 12 x 16

Wow - it has been too long!! Where has time gone? I know my time has been spent chasing a 2 year old boy! So how to do more and be more productive? Paint smaller pieces I can get finished - like this one, 3 Little Pigs. This is NOT based off the story 3 Little Pigs, but instead it is inspired by one of my son's favorite books, Moo Baa La La La by Sandra Boynton.

"The cow says "moo," the sheep says "Baa."
Three singing pigs say "La, la la!"
No, no, you say, that isn't right,
those pigs go "oink" all day and night...."

Over and over and over again, I read this book. So I painted some pigs!

What a wonderful mix of colors and shapes! There is so much expression in each figure. You would think this was the exact moment the sun began to rise or fall
