Here's my weekly painting, another small town landscape from my neighborhood. A Touch of Red is 9 x 12" on watercolor paper stretched on canvas stretchers. It's varnished and the sides are painted, so it can be hung as is or framed. It's for sale on
ebay ending Sunday the 15th. So far this year, I've sold two small oils and one varnished watercolor that looks like an oil. I'm planning to do a lot more of both mediums. Keep up on my website - www.debwatson.org.

I love this - the concept of "a touch of red" is something I learned from my daughter, when it comes to room design, and is also fabulous for painting compositions. This is really bright and crisp and beautifully done.
Sounds like a great start to the new year Deb! I will be following!
Deb, I will never forget when I saw my first Cezanne exhibit - lush green landscapes, but when you looked closer, there where tiny daubs of red placed strategically throughout!
This is a beautiful painting - I love how some of that red appears in the dried branches on the right side of the painting.
