Red Fox Encounter by Charlotte Yealey

18x42
Oil
I have been working on this oil painting since November in between commissions and all my other activities and I have finally decided it was finished. I am not sure if I like the photo I have taken and might try to photograph it again. Painting wolves and foxes are similar to painting dogs so I challenge myself to try to paint them in their natural environment.

Thank you, Michael. In my attempt to paint larger, I think I am feeling more confident.

Oh my, the fluffiness of the tail and fur is so great! Love this piece- so well painted and so lively.
