Evening at Camp by Daily Painter of Pennsylvania Mary Beth Brath

Evening at Camp by Mary Beth Brath
10x8" Acrylic on Canvas

I have been painting and drawing at this cabin for the past 35 years.  This past summer, I painted this in the evening as the sun was setting behind the mountain. My love for this family cabin continues to grow as does my desire to capture the area on canvas.

This is one of the paintings that I touched up in preparation for my January exhibit at the gallery.

It does have a subtle and light touch and invites me in to relax and regroup!

I love this piece. It just draws you in and makes you want to be there at the cabin. There is just a soft, serene feeling and I too love the way you captured the light!

Thanks for the comments everyone. When I look at this painting, I see my dog running around in the grass and my parents (now deceased)going in and out of the door.
