I haven't been posting lately since I haven't been painting lately, I broke my weight bearing bone in my leg just able the ankle on November 29th and have been in a wheelchair ever since. Supposedly I will be getting a "walking cast" on the 18th of the month. It's been difficult since I am normally always on the go - teaching and painting. Here is one of my latest pieces that was completed in mid November. After it was finished, an abstracted landscape popped out at me. This piece, I must admit, is one of my favorites. I don't know if I will sell it or not - maybe hang it awhile at my home..... It's a fairly large acrylic - 36 x 48 on canvas.
I've asked my husband, Bob, to bring up some supplies for me from my studio downstairs. I dying here not painting - so will begin some small pieces (12 x 12) on the dining room table. I also want to play around with cold wax and oil. We'll see what comes of it. Happy New Year to everyone!

This is absolutely gorgeous! I love it. We missed you last night at the Open House at Brath and Hughes. My husband and I were just saying how much we love your work. Hope you heal soon.
Love your abstract landscape! Hope you are feeling better soon.
Love this Linda! Hope your up and about Soon!
I love the deep and varied blues and the oranges in this. I am not usually taken with abstract painting, however this one speaks to me of winter water-way in the city at midnight with a nearby streetlamp lending its light to the leafless trees. Beautiful!
Hope you are healing and getting better. I do love the energy in this abstract.
Thanks to all!
