I usually don't paint interiors, but this one done seven years ago at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art was just acquired for their collection. Congratulations on the Westmoreland acquisition Ron...and I love the Reaching Shadow painting. I used my thumb to cover up the tree and then just focused on the shadow and it took on an eerie demeanor like something out of an Edward Gorey book. Very nicely done.
