I painted this little guy yesterday and today in the studio. I just love the way he's nestled in the snow. I've never painted animals before so this was a lot of fun!

Your background brush strokes are to die for! I am absolutely mesmerized by this painting! Even the little flecks of snow on the feathers! Gorgeous!
Thank you everyone! It somehow feels so personal painting something that is living. I really enjoyed doing it and plan on doing more.
