Deb Watson - Flowers II

The New Painting Materials Journey Continues

This is my second attempt at watercolor flowers with the paper stretched on canvas bars like an oil painting. For this one, I used a different spray varnish finish. It didn't dull the colors as much as the brushed on varnish, but its just a big glossy and that makes it difficult to photograph! I've ordered yet another spray varnish for watercolor and will post the next one, too.

So pretty Debi! Makes me want to skip winter and get right to spring. I love the flowers and butterfly and the softness in the background is just amazing. Beautiful!
