Bucks County Winter 6 x 6 oil on canvas by Christine Marx


Well, I cannot believe it but I finished two paintings today. I usually don't do two paintings a month but I am trying to loosen up some of my work and am doing small quick works. I used a picture that I took after last year's epic snowfall and I have to say I am happy with how the painting turned out. Makes me almost look forward to it snowing. LOL

It sure does capture the cold and gray light of a big snow deep in the winter. My favorite parts are the thin white highlights on the surface of the snow. Great!
