Kiwi Light, Maria Kovalenko Leysens


This is a demonstration I did for my adult watercolor class.
We photographed sliced fruit with a strong backlight for reference.
We also looked at another artist who paints fruit like this as our initial inspiration.
It was a good lesson in observation, color mixing and also on how to mix a good black.

thank you. I should post some of the student work on my blog sometime. I do post the younger students but have not posted the adults. The adults also do a nice job.
