Day 93

I loved the subtle shades of green in this apple, then
that wonderful blush on the front.  As anyone who
lives in South Central PA knows, lately our natural light
has been obscured by rain clouds, and this weekend
was no exception.  I rather liked how the duller light
brought out even more color in this apple - especially
the little glow on the front blush of the apple.

However, I will not complain when we start to get
some bright, sunny Autumn days!

93 down and seven to go! This looks like a honey crisp apple. Yum. Come on sunshine!

This reminds me that fall is coming and homemade applesauce along with it! Great painting!

A soft, sentimental (in a good way!) rendering that really shows a love of apples - and autumn. I especially like the leaves. Beautiful!

Thank you Linda, Julie and Dianne. Linda - if this would have been a Honey Crisp, it woould never have lasted long enough for me to paint! I can not remember what this was - may have to run up to the orchard to get some more :)
