"Peaks Island Shoreline" by Taryn Day

oil on paper
5"x7"

The Casco Bay's Long Island is in the distance.  The fickle sun and the swiftly rising tide made any painting of the shoreline a very quick, decisive affair.

You did a great job to capture the shore line and all the activity. Love the simplicity of this painting.

So beautiful and love how you've lit and shadowed the rocks.
