Independence Day by Phillip Krivenko

First, I would like to tell everyone how much I enjoyed the art event at Gallery 13. As a new member coming from Northeastern Pennsylvania, I meet some of the most talented members. Everyone made me feel at home especially Mary Beth. The art, music and refreshments were also very good. thank you, Phil

"Independence Day", was painted many years ago as a calendar project. I thought it would be appropriate to display for this holiday as a greeting and thank you for having me as a member. Happy Independence Day to all at Daily Painters of Pennsylvania.

Lovely painting. Thank you for traveling so far to come to the reception. We will have to talk more about the daily painting advice you share with your students.

It was a pleasure talking to you too! This painting makes me want to plunk down and read a book in that spot. I love it!
