Day one - Hydrangea and Roses with Green Apples by Christine Marx

I thought I'd post what I'm painting today because it's been so long since I've posted! The only thing 1/2 done here is the hydrangea. Tomorrow I will fill in some peach colored roses and green apples. I'm having a lot of fun with this one, and will be sad when (soon) there won't be hydrangeas to paint in bloom. I'll post again when more is done.

And also wanted to mention we had a chance to go to Brooklyn this weekend to see Mary Beth's show. It was fantastic! The building was amazing and it was full of people. Her work was fabulously displayed and we had a great time!

CHRISTINE--I planted an ever-blooming blue hydrangea a couple of years ago--It blooms all summer--I have done several paintings of their blossoms.
