Here is another collection of images from the recent Plein Air Paint Out, part of the Gettysburg Festival's Fringe Fest. I parked myself on what felt like the top of the world - at least my little bit of the world - and had a wonderful time trying to capture (and accentuate, really) the changing light. The barrel of the cannon in the foreground contains a blue bird nest; they were very busy building on that day!

I hope that you are printing these off and saving them as a memory of this year's painting at Gettysburg, Dianne. I was lucky to see this (and your other paintings) in person at the reception - and they look even better!
Thanks, Claire. We all did really nice work this year; yours were gorgeous. It was a better year for me, and I think part of that was not setting up at the culinary events, which wasn't my cup of tea. I need to find a technique for that sort of subject!
Awesome post Dianne. I also loved this year's paint out. You, Claire and Sue worked very hard on administrative details and it showed.
