On Thursday, June 9th at 5 pm, the 5th Annual BarnArt Show, sponsored by Historic Gettysburg Adams County, will open for public viewing through Saturday, June 11th at 4 pm at the GAR Hall at 53 East Middle Street in Gettysburg. I've never participated in this exhibit before, but have to admit I've spent a lot of time viewing and photographing various Adams County barns over the past several years, so I decided to add my inspiration to the "conversation". I'm looking forward to this and the many other events associated with the Gettysburg Festival and Fringe Festival -- History Meets the Arts and the Plein Air Paint-Out, in particular. Hope those of you who aren't participating in the Festival can make a trip into Gettysburg during its 10-day run, June 10 to 19, to check out some of its magnificent offerings! (Incidentally: this is the first post I've made in a while, but have been trying to post comments to other's postings, and Blogger isn't recognizing my identity, so there does still seem to be some sort of problem.)
