"The Young Sage" by Michael LeKites


My son Josiah did the posing this time. Mechanical pencil in HB, plus artist pencils in F, 2B, 3B, 4B and a little charcoal. All on smooth Bristol. 9x12.

I find it harder to paint/draw my family. Extra pressure I put on myself.. Do you also find this? This is nice work.

Thanks for the nice comments! Yes, it's a little different when doing a family member. It's both good and bad. In one way it's easier, but then in another you've got a house full of critics! :)
