"Keenan" by Michael LeKites

A few weeks ago I bought a Western Art magazine and saw an article on the death of artist Paul Calle. My father had bought his book on the pencil for me back around 1972 or so if my memory serves me correctly. His book was very influential. I realized then it had been quite some time since I did any serious drawing.
So, I searched through a closet and pulled out an old leather jacket and had my son pose for me.
9x12. Graphite on smooth Bristol.

Funny where and how a spark ignites an idea for a drawing/painting. Nice job too.
