I have been wanting to do this painting ever since these irises started blooming. Last week it rained constantly and I was afraid the flowers would be washed away before I had a chance to paint them, but fortunately Saturday was a beautiful sunny day and I was able to capture these irises before they were gone.

I think this just became my favorite painting of yours, Julie - love this, especially with the gate slightly open.
How inviting this painting is-love the colors of the iris. The dark, partially opened wrought iron gate helps to make this painting so charming.

I think You might need to paint something similar, but bigger. Will look gorgeous on a wall!
