Codorus State Park on Mother's Day by Mary Beth Brath

Codorus State Park on Mother's Day by Daily Painter of Pennsylvania Mary Beth Brath

8x10" Acrylic on Canvas - Plein Air

Thanks to my involvement with the Susquehanna Valley Plein Air Group, I have pushed myself to finish work on site this spring. This is a painting I did on Sunday.

It's beautiful, Mary Beth. Typical of your lush style! (Lush as in deep and rich, not tipsy:)

This is very, very nice! Your water is wonderful! I have the utmost respect for anyone who does plein air!

Wish you could have been with us on Thursday, Mary Beth - but I am so glad you went and painted this lovely painting there! What a gorgeous, peaceful place.

Claire - love your post from Codorus with the SVPAP. Great to see Charlotte visited. I have 2 meetings in Gburg regarding the paint out for the festival. I did finish a painting at a new spot. I must go back again. Sue was with me and knows where we were!

Dianne - thanks! My style is heavy and rich in color. Our true selves come out on the canvas. Sometimes we don't even realize it in the beginning. Then as we mature on our artistic journey, we learn about why we are the way we are! I have found that I need structure and permanency in my life. Still so much to learn.
