"Ruby Bowl" Pastel WIP by Tatiana Myers.

"Ruby Bowl"
11 x 11"  Pastel on PastelMat

And here it is... That very "New project" (OK, one of those very "New projects", because I have more then one in my head and more that one already started. But this one has a great chance to be finished first.
I did two days long photoshoot with my orchids and some other Still Life arrangements to get something interesting and now I have some great references to work with. This time I draw-as -I-go, with no preliminary sketching, value sketching etc. I do have to use a grid, however, because of strong presence of geometric pattern. I was very much looking forward to do this painting, so let hope it will turn out to meet my expectations.

Thank You, Linda!
I'm afraid it will have to wait a little. Different planes for the moment, need my kitchen free of pastel boxes. I guess I'll painting something what doesn't take over 3 tables at once! than will be back to this "great start". :-)

Thank You, Debra!
I had to out it on hold for a while... just need my kitchen for other things and can not keep all those pastel boxes out. For once I'm working something in Oil, because it takes much lesser room. Same reference, just different medium. then I'll e back to this one. End of this month more likely.
