"Old Bottles" Colored Pencil by Charlotte Yealey

8x10-1/2
Colored Pencil
While cleaning a collection of old bottles, my husband sat them in the kitchen sink. He filled them with water to soak out some of the dirt in them and when I walked into the kitchen and saw the overhead light on them, I had to take a picture. After viewing the photo on my computer, I had to do a painting.

This is gorgeous. I love the angle you chose. I would never have guessed this was done with colored pencil - this is so amazing! They look so real and so breakable!

I keep coming back to look at this - I am so impressed with what you have achieved here, Charlotte. I agree with Joe - the perspective makes this even more special.
