Hermanas 12"x 14" Water media on Yupo paper

I used a photo taken from my missions trip to Nicaragua as my inspiration and reference. I combined the fluidity and unpredictability of Yupo paper to get the colors and textures in the background. Overall I'm pleased with the result. Before I started painting on Yupo paper, my paintings were primarily of portraits. This was a fun experiment in combining the two.
