WAITING TO SAIL By Cecelia Lyden

On a beautiful, sunny, breezy morning I returned to a corner of the Fort Pierce Marina. I met with other plein air painters, some residents, others snowbirds like myself. . It was most enjoyable painting outdoors that morning and to observe the other artists' styles and interpretations of the same same subject.

Wonderful color reflections under the boats! Looks like a great way to spend the day.

Nicely done Cecelia. Good composition. I like the soft warmth you've achieved with the colors. Nice painting!

My sister is vacationing in Florida and when we Skype she shows me the Palm trees and now I am seeing palm trees in your painting-just rubbing it in. HaHa

Thank you all--I really wish you all were here--It is amazing painting outdoors here--last year it was cold in Fla and I did very little plein air--mostly took photos--this year I am out almost every day.
