Shy...and Seductive by Mary Beth Brath

Shy...and Seductive
6x6" Acrylic on Tile
Ahhh - the sunflower. Striking a bashful pose that still says "Look at me". This was completed in one sitting on a snowy day a couple of weeks ago.
Today the ice storm has me settled in the studio and ready to paint once again. I am working on a new piece in my "Confections" series. Check my facebook page to see the work in progress.

It jumps out at me! One of my favorites of yours!
Too bad we could not visit longer at the chaging of the paintings at the Courthouse yesterday.

Thom - how did the installation go at the Courthouse? I loved your article in Harrisburg Magazine. Your images looked stunning.

One of my all time favorite sunflower paintings. I love the old farm homestead feel of this one too.
