My current project, Dianne Lorden

Keeping a bit of a record of the progress of my current pastel, the drawings for which I posted last week. Not sure how long it will take me, but as I have a deadline, I try to work on it every day; this is three visits to the drawing board. I'm having a good time, although the subject isn't really what I'm in the mood for. (I started a warm, yummy seascape a bit ago ... now, that's more like it! But it'll have to wait.)

Looking good, Dianne -- I'm really liking that sky! (It may not be a beach scene but at least the sky is blue. I'm in Ohio as I type this and we're currently coated in about 1/4" of ice with more coming down.Yuck.)

It is so interesting to see this coming to life..especially seeing the two pictures next to each other. Your sky is wonderful.

Gorgeous skies and beautiful architecture all coming together to make this one promising finished piece! Can't wait to see more!

Love this post Dianne. How did you post your pictures inside of the frame with the word Progress? Is it done using photo shop or something similar?

Thanks for all the encouragement, everyone.
Amy, so you got the ice! Best of luck!
Mary Beth, I put it together in Picture It, which is not the most robust program for creating things with images, but I'm very used to how it works so I find it easy.
