Manyunk ~ Watercolor ~ Debi Watson

This a new watercolor on paper (22 x 17.5) of Manyunk, an artsy area near Philadelphia. I just thought all the architechture was interesting, especially with the sunlight coming in through the alleys and the beer flags flying. It's just that kind of place, but the food is always good.

Wow, terrific! Looks pretty much like one-point perspective to me, although the subject is busy enough that I could be fooled. Great setting and a great painting!

Wonderful piece Debi. It is also great to see a scene from the Philadelphia area on the DPP site.

Reminds me of Chicago with the el tracks. A gorgeous city scene, Debi! Awesome work with all that detail and still giving it the city gritty feel.

Reminds me of some of New York City streets, under the el, near the West Side Drive--nostalgic for me and nicely done.
