THE BLOSSOM II EXHIBIT Cecelia Lyden, reporting from FLA.

Yesterday my sister-in-law and I went to the Naples Museum of Art to see Tatiana Myers' painting in the Blossom II Exhibit: The Art of Flowers. Unfortunately, photographs in the museum are not permitted. So my sister-in-law took a couple of me at the entrance. That's me on the right. I'm holding the exhibit catalog I purchased. In it are beautiful photos of the 100 paintings chosen from nearly 2000 entries and their artists. Tatiana's piece, Awakening, looked amazing. The whole exhibition is exceptional.

Thank You, Cecelia!
I'm glad you had a chance to see the show (too bad picture taking is not allowed!). I'm waiting to see catalog being posted online, but I guess they not going to do it before official reception. You are looking so happy and comfortable! And here it is anything, but... Can not believe we could be under palm trees next week. Too bad we will not see you.... Thank You for posting this! And have a great WARM time!

I'm sorry, too,Tatiana that we missed each other--I would have loved to intoduce you to my sister-in-law. She collects art and loved the exhibition. The museum is small, but has some name painters and sculptors in their permanent collection. They have just added a huge assemblage by Louise Nevelson in their lobby. They have 3 large Dale Chihuly glass scuptures and are featuring an amazing light exhibit, which I recommend. Your exhibition is on the 3rd floor and is spectacular. Enjoy the weather and the museum.

Well, I'm personally having anything BUT fantastic time right now, but if I will be alive in a two days and have some sort of transportation device (even it is a broom), I'll be down there too.
And yes, it is super nice of Cecilia to post it.

Thank You again! Packing today., leaving tomorrow. Still - no word on winners. It is a Blossom thing, nobody knows anything till the day of award ceremony. Nice change - to be in worm place with all those flowers and palms!
