Still Life in progress by Tatiana Myers. Pastels. Update #1.

 8.5 x 11"  Pastel on La Carte

Sweet poison, swwet poison! Now I got out my so called "Special Collection" of Unison pastels. So beautiful, yes so not healthy (who cares, I'm not going eat them anyway and then when it finished it goes under the glass. "Special Collection" is a delicious mix of Cadmiums and Cobalts. Very helpful for that orange skins. I think I finally getting that color right where I want to see it...

Thank you, Claire!

It was an idea. I need my own show Still Life from scratch. I done two of those so far, pretty happy with both, but they are from Wet canvas Image library. I need something totally my own. This is it.

This is absolutely beautiful Tatiana! I'm afraid of Unisom pastels but the colors are so brilliant that you have to use them sometimes in order to get the results you just did in this beautiful painting of yours!!

Thank You to all and every one of you, friends!

Hilda, I'm not very custom with Unisons myself and have lesser that 30 colors. I only use those for finishing touches (same as my other extra-soft pastels). This time it just happened that my Unisons were the best much to color I needed. I'm happy. It was a good match. Will continue to work on it tonight.
