This was the last of the substrate that I was testing for the company, before we launch it to the public. There were three different surfaces on the same support. I needed to finish this last test and mail it so it could be in California by Monday morning for the meeting, so I did this scene, which I have done before. It wasn't about the subject anyway, but about the surface and medium I was using. This is a 8x10 pastel. I called it Beach Breeze because with all the snow recently, I think I would love a little beach and ocean time.

Yup, I am also ready for some beach.
Nice glow and warmth near the island.
Makes me think of the bright blue Caribbean waters.
What kind of paper and what grit
Joe, I am testing material for my company that is not out on the market yet. So, I can't say until I know we are going to launch the product.
Thanks Maria and Julie
Like this very much! Isn't it fun to test new materials - I get to do that with my job, too!
Jennifer, I know you through Debora. I had worked with Savoir faire before, then with Gambin, then Graham, and now I work for Savoir Faire again (for good I hope). I saw Debora at AOC and she told me your good news, congrats on your precious little boy! Are you going to be at CAA? If so, I will stop by and say hello, or you can stop by our both if you get time. Good to see you on here.
