As a decorative artist I would love to someday visit the Hearst Castle. I think it is funny that of all the beautiful decoration there you chose to focus on the oranges on the counter :) It is a beautiful painting.

Julie, The furnishings were unbelievable at the Hearst. I have others I will paint. But the kitchen was so modern for the time, I got hung up there!
Testural qualities of the bowl and the tiles are working so beautifully in this, Andy.
What strikes me about this painting is the beautiful hues and actual feelings of the colors in this painting!
