Two Heads are Better, a minature colored pencil painting by Amy Lindenberger

This is another of my miniature experiments using colored pencil on PastelMat, this time a Charcoal Gray color. Every summer I enjoy visiting with the cows on the Henry Culp Farm in Gettsyburg, just a short walk from where I live, and decided to use these two as a small study. The image is 3 1/2" x 5", matted and framed to 5" x 7", for $100. I'm looking forward to doing some larger works on this surface, now that I've had a chance to try it in some small sizes. To see more of my work, please visit http://www.CivilWarFineArt.com. If you're interested in seeing more miniatures, look at the group labeled "Gettysburg Today".

Love it! I will go on your site and take a look. I just tried a couple of Mini's this week after seeing the Chambersburg show. What a blast! Also noticed the judge for the show was Nancy Tankersley and exhibit coordinator was Anne Finucane.

These guys look so serious. You did a wonderful job creating dramatic light.

I can almost imagine these cows standing by the manger...such quiet, humble dignity. Beautiful work, Amy.
