I like the soft treatment. The "motion" of the background really is an extention of the rose; it looks softly energized. And the water drops are fab!
Such a treat to see 3 wonderful artists' "spins" on the same image--all decidedly their own.
Having just painted the same image I am delighted to see your rendition. You always have a delicate touch to your painting and your treatment of this rose is beautiful.
Beautiful! My grandfather raised all different kinds of roses and I just love them..
