Well, I was certainly surprised to open up the blog this morning and see my name up there! Thanks for including my work on your post, Tatiana. I haven't been able to see the show yet -- your works look great, though! I find it a real challenge to work at that scale.

Thank You, Debra!
Please go and see it. Irina and I loved the show and Mary Beth did too!

Amy, You are very welcome!

I didn't go at opening reception, but we went this Wednesday to see everything and do the photoshoot. I was told that we made a very right choice, because reception was very crowded and it will be complicated to do any sort of photography. Hopefully you too can make it there and see it!

I was blown away by the miniatures. There were even magnifying glasses available to look at the work. Many pieces in the show had sold stickers. The show is a must see. Great work Amy and Tatiana!

Thank You, Pat!
Thank You, Mary Beth!

I LOVE miniature shows. One of the reasons - artist can enter in ## competition all around country and shipping will cost you as much, as sending a small box by mail ($10 ?). This is it. Now, if we are talking about "full size" works, it is whole different story; spec. glass, spec. box/crate, anything, but easily affordable.

And... of course to go and see miniature show is always great opportunity to see a lot of Fine Art in the same place... And place doesn't even have to be big for it.
So - many good reasons to enter and many good reasons to go and see the show.

One more reason important in our days: just like Mary beth stated, sales are usually much higher, that on "regular" shows. Even most of paintings are not cheap by any mean they are highly collectible.
