Day 62
The leaves are really coming to their color peak here
in Pennsylvania right now. It seems that everywhere
I go I am picking up the ones that fascinate me because
of their color and/or shape. This one really caught my
attention because of the shades of red, and those curling
leaves.

My students have been working on leaves for a few weeks... because I can't get enough of them. I like the way you really showed the detail and bold color of this curling leave.
Both firey and delicate--twisting, struggling to hang on to life-I'm reading too much into this, aren't I? As always, Claire--beautiful work.
Great painting Claire! It feels "crunchy". I missed you this week, but I hope this Thursday will be better weather for painting that glorious fall color.
I, too, like the movement and bold red color, Claire. "Lady in Red"
Pure beauty. Love the touch of green on the stem.
Nice, Claire! I really like this one!
Tis the season! Perfect!
