FALLING LEAVES AT FULLER LAKE
Plein Air Painting
by Claire Beadon Carnell

'Falling Leaves at Fuller Lake'
Oil on Linen Panel
9 x 12

The day we were to meet at Fuller Lake in Pine
Grove Furnace, the day started out with dark clouds
and drizzle.  Fortunately, the clouds moved out quickly,
and we had a beautiful, sun-drenched day.  The breeze
skittered the leaves across the water and through the
air, and the colors were fantastic!

Beautiful painting, Claire. I can feel that wind shaking the leaves off those trees.

This is one of my favorites from our Fuller Lake day! I love your composition and that one beautiful tree with it's white bark holding on to those last few leaves. It is a perfect fall painting.
