Palette Knife
This painting was done for The Gospel Story Exhibit at Art & Soul Gallery, 900 Market Street, Lemoyne, Pennsylvania; the gallery is located on the 2nd floor of the West Shore Farmers Market. It was inspired by the Parable of Jesus from Matthew 6:24-34. Especially the part "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them." It sounds like it's going to be a lovely show. I'm hoping to get the smaller painting of my Mom reading her Bible in it; but it depends on Lyn having room for it. This is a BEEE-U-tiful painting Pat!

Birds are one of my favorite subjects. You captured this little guy so well.

Thanks everyone. I love that palette knife, but still so much to learn.

You are a master with the palette knife!! This is so beautiful I want to cry. And I like how you worked it into the theme of Lyn's show.
