Cooler weather heats up my studio efforts! paintings by David Bottini, for Gabriel

The weather is shifting and autumn is here. I love this time of year - the pale light and the emerging autumn colors - ahhh (and the cool nights).
Was really cooking in the studio the past few week ... a large piece for a November group show and a few studies completed and a new large painting moving along. Enjoyed a fun reception for a collaborative exhibit at Mercersburg Academy - I am paired with Eric Olson (see the invite for contrast of our imagery)
Just completed (i think) a holiday themed piece - wanted it early so it has time on exhibit in a gallery to find a new owner before December (I prefer wishful thinking : )

Very nice post. BTW - you are not wishfully thinking. You're a prolific, proactive, professional artist that gets the job done. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love to see how the cooler weather is inspiring others. These look marvelous, as usual. Great job, David!
