6"x 4" watercolor ~ SOLDI liked all the dark values in the wood with
the focus on the blue mortar and pestle and
a bit of rust in the bowl on the right. The trick
is to not get it a muddy mess!

Your rendition of rust is really believable and very dramatic with all the darks.
You are right about avoiding mud with all the darks - you did a great job here.
