I made this au plein air for my daughter and her boyfriend on Monday. We visited them at their Lake Mohawk home, and this is a view from "their" beach. (There are 10 beaches in this private community, and this is the one near them.) It's a beautiful lake surrounded by an Alpine-looking village, also featuring a charming island of chalet-style homes. We took a great walk along the trails, too. Hopefully, I'll have some good photos to work from as well!

This is wonderful, Dianne. Nothing like painting out in the fresh air!
So lovely! Your daughter lives in a most gorgeous spot!
I look out the window of our home, which now has quite a sweeping leaf-less view of the water, and can see the charming Tudor cottage painted here. The owners don't know that it looks even more magical hanging on my wall. Thank you, Mom!
