"Jack Russell Terrier" Pastel by Charlotte Yealey

9x12
Pastel
This summer my husband and I went to watch a "dock dogs" event at a lake near our home where I photographed this little guy. He was not one of the dogs jumping off the dock but he was a spectator with his owner. I did this painting in one day, today, trying to get back to a painting a day.

I just adore your dog paintings. This guy looks like he is ready to play. Congrats on finishing in one day.

He looks like he wants to get in on the action. Very well done Charlotte.

I think he looks like he is sitting back and just enjoying the show--such a wonderful job portraying this dog's personality.

You always manage to capture the spirit as well as the image -- I can see the spunk and excitement in this little guy's eyes.

I like his perky pose..that really contributes to his attentive attitude..
